Gordon Chang, a senior member of the Gatestone Institute, is responding to China’s goal of achieving COVID zero for communities.
Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey responded with a simple message to the news segment on the Chinese government’s current approach to COVID-19 policy.
After Dorsey saw a report highlighting the Chinese government’s strict policy on COVID-19, more than two and a half years after the pandemic began, he proposed the solution: “End the CCP.”
The report said China’s COVID-19 testing is stringent and consistent, adding that a public health-oriented phone app dictates where someone can go.
According to the report, a green code is needed every time you enter public areas, and a red one means that the person has to go into quarantine.

Testing for COVID-19 is mandatory for Beijing’s population of more than 20 million people, according to the report.
Elsewhere in China, such as Shanghai, the city ended its two-month lockdown on June 1.

During the Shanghai blockade, city residents struggled to obtain basic necessities such as food. China has a ‘zero COVID’ approach to the pandemic, meaning a slight increase in the number of cases in the city could lead to widespread roadblocks.
