In the video, you can hear a woman saying, “You didn’t have to get out of your fucking car. You are a Black man walking up to a White woman ”.

Owens called the woman “Karen” in an Instagram caption, and the former recipient jumped on TMZ Sports to talk about the conflict.

He said it could have been much worse.

“I could have died,” he said. “Honestly, I could have died and the story would have been completely different.”

“If the wrong type of cops came out, if they got the wrong type of information,” Hall of Famer added. “She, you saw the video, she started to cry, you never know how this situation could change.”

Although no quotes were made, Owens, 48, still believes the woman in the film should face repercussions and wants Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody to take a look at the situation.

“I hope people here in Florida are monitoring what has happened,” Owens said. “I hope maybe she can do it and see what can be done because like I said it could have changed really, really bad and as I said it could have been a situation where you might not have been talking to me, I live here today, but you talked about me in a different way. “
