Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady caused some confusion by leaving training on Friday for personal reasons. Confusion may officially end. Brady is back.
Joey Knight Tampa Bay Times has video evidence published Brady in practice.
Brady skipped two training sessions and hasn’t been on the pitch since news came that dolphins had been tinkering intensely with him, from 2019 to 2022. Brady has yet to hold a press conference since the NFL announced the results of its research, so he was not asked about the issue.
Wild Guessing – The questions he receives from the media regarding the Bucs will be significantly different in tone and content than the questions he would now endure from the Boston media.
While Brady did nothing wrong (as per the rules) to manipulate him, the time and scope of the discussions go well beyond simply picking up the phone and politely declining to do so. He and Dolphins vice president Bruce Beal, a close friend, had a lot of information about Brady’s ability to play for the Dolphins while Brady played for the Patriots and Buccaneers.
Brady has every right to do so. But it’s hard to fully grasp that Tom is focusing on the team while Tom is really focusing on Tom. He wants to choose his next place to play with his primary goal in mind, and whether this organization will help him achieve his goal of winning not only the next Super Bowl, but preferably everyone.
Once on the team, he focuses on the team. Because he has to focus solely on the team to get what Tom is about.
His favorite Super Bowl ring. Also known as next.
